Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghabban, president of the Technological University Within the activities of the training center and workshops, the center held a workshop entitled    (Reducing the phenomenon of drug abuse among young people) on Sunday, 31/12/2023، Dr. Tahani Mohammed Al-Shammari /Ministry of Health /Wasit health department delivered a lecture at the automotive  The workshop also included educational and psychological awareness for students to stay away from these poisons because of their devastating impact on civil and educational communities such as universities.division Hall at Ten in the morning Workshop recommendations: - paying attention to educating and training students on drug prevention, as it is a societal scourge that destroys society. - The need for the participation of  university professors in encouraging students to carry out technical and social activities concerned with awareness of the dangers of drugs and their prevention  .The director of the center also gave an educational speech to our students and urged them to play an effective role in community assessment and contribute to preventing the spread of this scourge. At the end of the workshop, a certificate of appreciation was awarded to the participating lecturer

In implementation of the terms of the agreement signed between the Ministry of higher education and scientific research and the World Food Organization of the United Nations Date 6/12/2023 ،The procedure for receiving applicants to the josoor program of the organization was WFP at the Technological University / Information Technology Center on 20/12/2023،Where the candidates were received on the program through the interview committee and the data entry committee under the supervision and direct support of the president of the Technological University and the assistant to the University for Scientific Affairs and  graduate studies, after the launch of an electronic nomination form within the province of Baghdad

Dr. Wissam Hamid Aliawi, director of the training and workshops center, participated in a training course entitled (modern technologies for new and renewable energy) Which was held at the headquarters of the Union of Arab universities in Amman – Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan during the period from 27 to 30 November 2023 Under the supervision of the Institute of training and industrial consulting of the Arab Organization for industrial development, standardization and mining ITCI.

In accordance with the directives of the president of the Technological University, professor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghabban, in order to communicate with the segments of society The volunteer work team at The training and workshops Center organized a campaign to provide Dar Al Hanan for the severely disabled with the necessary supplies for people with special needs Providing material support and identifying their needs as well as providing moral support to them، We point out that this initiative is not the first, it was preceded by several initiatives in order to communicate with various segments of society and extend a helping hand to civil society institutions, especially orphans with determination to strengthen the bonds of love and unity among community members.
