On the sidelines of the ICO University for Systems Technology Project launched by our university under the patronage of His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Haider Abdul Dahad, the undersecretary of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, visited the training center and laboratories with the advanced staff of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, and reviewed to the delegation the mechanism of the center's workshops.

As part of the scientific activities of the faculty members at the training center and laboratories, Prof. Dr. Hasnain Adnan Abdul Wahab, together with Prof. Dr. Hussein al-Qaim from Petronas University Malaysia, held a workshop on the topic of scientific publication within the international classifications and the workshop was held in the Department of production engineering and Metallurgy.

Within the scientific activities of teaching The Training and Workshops Center, the teacher, Dr. Hassanein Adnan Abdel-Wahhab, participated in giving a lecture entitled (Problem of the spread of water hyacinth and champagne plants in Iraqi rivers and their effects on water resources in the country - a study between graphic statistics and practical treatments) in the first future forum for water sustainability that was held in the College of the Future University.

The Training and Workshops Center received a group of students from Al-Khwarizmi Industrial Preparatory School / Department of Industrial Technology on a scientific visit the visit included informing the students and the accompanying staff about the machines and machines in all the training workshops in the center, especially since the majority of students attending are the target group of this visit.
